Hey everyone,
Quick updates from me on a few key topics.
Choosing a 3PL
Choosing and working with a 3PL is one of the most consequential decisions a growing brand makes, and most go into it with very little to guide them. We take that decision seriously, so we put together a field guide that walks through how to approach it well, from scoping your needs to managing the relationship once it's in place. It's written to be useful whether or not you ever work with us, and if you're weighing a move, it's the best place to start.

Deeper data for the brands we work with
Most brands only ever see the data their shipping platform hands them, and we think the brands we work with should have a lot more than that. For one of our customers right now, we're pulling their shipping data through the API and building a layer of analysis on top of it, with insights that go much deeper, and with automations and alerts that surface what matters without anyone having to go looking for it.
The goal is for the brands who work with Iron Margin to operate with the technology and insight of a much larger organization, ahead of their peers, rather than simply having someone working hard on their behalf. We're building this on top of the manual analysis, which is what tells us what is actually worth measuring, and we're evaluating the right technology partners so that we can bring this to every brand we work with as we grow.
A couple of quick notes
On a personal note, I recently recorded a podcast episode, coming out soon, where I get into the philosophy behind how I run this business more than I have anywhere else. I'm also likely bringing on an intern for the summer as we begin to build out the team.
